The Public Risk Management Association is North America's largest risk management association dedicated solely to the practice of risk management in the public sector. Our members handle risk management, safety and insurance for local and state governments. We provide education, training, professional development, and publications. To advocate the practice of public  risk management and to offer our membership and other partners a variety of indispensable educational initiative, resources & opportunities

Each year the South Florida PRIMA chapter may award FINANCIAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO PRIMA MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING for the purpose of attending classes leading to the attainment of an Associate in Risk Management Certification (ARM). Scholarships for up to 3 such ARM classes may be awarded each calendar year. Each year the decision to award scholarships is made dependant upon the financial situation of the chapter.
